Nottinghamshire
Nottinghamshire is in the English county of East Midlands, which borders South Yorkshire in the north-west, east Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire to the south west. Districts of Nottinghamshire are Ashfield, Broxtowe, Bassetlaw, Gedling, Mansfield, Newark and Sherwood and Rushcliffe. It is estimated that in Nottinghamshire lives a little more than a million people. More than half the population lives in urban Nottinghamshire Nottingham Urban Area, which also spreads in Derbyshire. The metropolitan area has about 650,000, but less than half live within the city limits.
